By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Mar 2017 in Recipes Veg New Update Paneer Jalfrazie Main Ingredients Cottage Cheese, Tomatoes Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 250 grams cottage cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes 2 medium tomatoes, roughly chopped 2 tablespoons oil + to deep fry 2 medium green capsicums, cut into thin strips 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon fennel powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 2 medium tomatoes, pureed 1 tablespoon tomato sauce Salt to taste 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the cottage cheese till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper and set aside. Heat two tablespoons oil in a non stick pan. Add onions, capsicum, ginger, garlic and sauté till onions are golden brown.. Add turmeric powder, fennel powder and garam masala. Sauté for half minute. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt. Cook for five to seven minutes. Add half cup water and mix well. Add cottage cheese pieces and simmer for ten minutes or until the gravy is thick. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
