Ingredients
- 250 grams cottage cheese (paneer), grated
- 8 bread slices
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoons fresh coriander chopped
- Salt to taste
- Butter as required
- Green chutney as required
Method
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add cumin seeds and once it changes colour add green chillies and sauté for a minute.
- Add onion and cook till golden brown in colour. Add turmeric and sauté for 2 seconds.
Add cottage cheese, coriander and salt, cook for 3-4 minutes. Set aside. - Place the bread slices on a board and apply butter on one bread slice. Then apply chutney, spread the paneer mixture on top. Cover with the other bread slice and apply butter on top.
- Grill till crisp, cut into triangles and serve hot with green chutney.
