Ingredients
- ¾ cup cottage cheese (paneer), grated
- 4 hot dog buns
- 1 tablespoon oil + for grilling
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies chopped
- ½ teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Green chutney as required
- Onions sliced as required
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté till seeds change colour.
- Add green chillies and ginger and sauté well. Add onion, mix and sauté till it turns light brown.
- Add tomato and salt, mix and cook till it turns soft and pulpy. Add chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add cottage cheese, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Remove from heat.
- Slit the buns from centre without cutting through. Spread some chutney on the slit portion and stuff with some paneer bhurji.
- Top with some sliced onions and serve immediately.
