Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 4 burger buns
- 10 teaspoons butter
- 2 teaspoons oil
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- Chaat masala as required
- 4 cheese slices
- Onion chopped as required
- Tomato sliced as required
- Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
- Heat 1 tsp butter and 1 tsp oil on a non-stick tawa, place 2 halved burger buns and toast them, turning sides till both sides are lightly browned. Keep them on one side of the tawa. Similarly, toast the remaining two halved burger buns.
- To make each burger, put 1 tsp butter in the middle of the hot tawa and break 1 egg, sprinkle salt, crushed black peppercorns and chaat masala. Place a cheese slice on the egg and let it cook for a minute. Place the top of one burger bun on it and keep it aside on the tawa.
- Add 1 tsp butter and break another egg, sprinkle salt, crushed black peppercorns and chaat masala, some onion and 2 tomato slices, place the base half of the burger bun and flip it. Place the egg-cheese-bun half on top and press. Similarly, cook the remaining eggs.
- Transfer 1 burger to each serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
