Ingredients list for Muri Ghonto
- 2-3 Rohu Fish
- 2 tablespoons Potatoes
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons Rice
- 2 teaspoons Rice soaked
- to taste Salt
- 2 Potatoes diced
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add onion and saute till light brown. Add cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, rice and a minute.
- Add salt, fish and half cup water and let it simmer till the fish is tender. Remove from flame. Serve hot with rice.
