Slice onion. Add cumin seeds and onion to the pan and sauté till onion is translucent. Add fenugreek leaves and mix well. Add salt and mix again and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add rice and 3 cups water and mix well. Add red chilli powder and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till the rice is done. Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
