Ingredients
- 1 cup mango puree
- 1½ cups milk
- ¼ cup almonds, soaked overnight and peeled
- ¼ cup pistachios, soaked and peeled
- ¼ cup cashewnut, soaked
- 2 tablespoons melon seeds
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon + ¼ cup castor sugar
- ½ cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 teaspoon green cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1 tablespoon candied rose petals (gulkand)
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing
Method
- Grind together almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts, melon seeds, poppy seeds and 1 tablespoon castor sugar to make a smooth mixture.
- Add ¼ cup milk and grind again.
- Blend together milk, mango puree, ground mixture, remaining castor sugar, vanilla ice cream, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and candied rose
petals to make a smooth mixture. - Serve garnished with mint sprig.
