Ingredients

  1. 1 cup mango puree
  2. 1½ cups milk
  3. ¼ cup almonds, soaked overnight and peeled
  4. ¼ cup pistachios, soaked and peeled
  5. ¼ cup cashewnut, soaked
  6. 2 tablespoons melon seeds
  7. 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  8. 1 tablespoon + ¼ cup castor sugar
  9. ½ cup vanilla ice cream
  10. 1 teaspoon green cardamom powder
  11. ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
  12. 1 tablespoon candied rose petals (gulkand) 
  13. Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing

Method

  1. Grind together almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts, melon seeds, poppy seeds and 1 tablespoon castor sugar to make a smooth mixture. 
  2. Add ¼ cup milk and grind again.
  3. Blend together milk, mango puree, ground mixture, remaining castor sugar, vanilla ice cream, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and candied rose 
    petals to make a smooth mixture.
  4. Serve garnished with mint sprig.
