Ingredients list for Mango Chutney- SK Khazana
- 1 large Imam mango
- 1-2 Green chilli
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- 1/2 teaspoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal)
- 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 7-8 Curry leaves
- a pinch Red chilli flakes
- for garnish Curry leaves fried
Method
- Discard the eye of imam mango, peel and cut into small pieces. Transfer into a blender jar.
- Break and add green chillies. Add turmeric Powder and salt and blend to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, split black grams,asafoetida and curry leaves and saute for 1-2 minutes. .
- Add chilli flakes and saute for 30 seconds. Take it off the heat and pour over the chutney and mix well. .
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with fried curry leaves and serve.
