Ingredients
- 250 boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- ½ teaspoon citric acid
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Oil for deep-frying
- ½ cup refined flour (maida)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes
- Mustard mayonnaise for serving
Method
- Mix together chicken cubes, salt, pepper powder, onion powder, garlic powder, chilli flakes, dried mixed herbs, citric acid and lemon juice in a bowl. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Coat the marinated chicken cube with some flour, dip in beaten egg and coat with cornflakes. Again dip in beaten eggs and coat with cornflakes.
- Put the prepared chicken cubes in hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with mustard mayonnaise.
