Ingredients
- 500 grams minced mutton (keema)
- 4 white bread slices (pav)
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 2-3 black peppercorns
- 2 cloves
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon mix masala
- Salt to taste
- Mint leaves for garnishing
- Onion slices for serving
- ½ lemon for serving
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, black peppercorns and cloves.
- Add onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, mix masala and salt, sauté till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy.
- Add minced mutton, ¼ cup water and mix well. Add little water and mix again. Cover and cook till pressure is released 4-5 times.
- Remove from heat and cool at room temperature. Transfer the keema mixture to a serving bowl.
- Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot with white bread slices, onion slices and half a lemon.
