Ingredients
- 1 cup dried black chickpeas (kale chane) , soaked overnight and boiled
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Fresh coriander sprigs for garnishing
- Puris to serve
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder, mix well and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add black chickpeas and salt and mix well. Add garam masala powder, mix, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot with puris.
