Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 4-5 medium potatoes, boiled and peeled
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
Method
- Cut the potatoes into dices. Heat oil and ghee in a non stick pan. Add ½ tablespoon cumin seeds and let the seeds change colour.Combine remaining cumin seeds and coriander seeds in a grinder jar.
- Grind coarsely and add half of this powder to the pan. Add potatoes and salt. Toss to mix and add remaining ground powder. Toss again to mix.
- Add red chilli powder, chaat masala and roasted cumin powder. Mix and toss again. Sprinkle a little water and mix well. Cook for 1 minute. Serve hot.
