By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bread slices, Paneer (cottage cheese) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jain Veg Ring 8 Bread slices 1/2 cup Paneer (cottage cheese) grated 1 small Green capsicum chopped 1 medium Tomato chopped 1-2 Green chillies chopped 1 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns to taste Salt 1 sprigs Fresh oregano 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2-3 tablespoons Butter 1/4 cup Processed cheese grated 1-2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup Method Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Cut bread slices into roundels with a round cookie cutter. Place a smaller round cutter in the middle of four bigger roundels and cut to get the shape of a doughnut. Put cottage cheese, capsicum, tomato, green chillies, crushed black peppercorn, salt, oregano, chilli flakes and coriander leaves in a bowl and mix well. Add one tablespoon of cheese and mix again. Mix butter, cheese and tomato ketchup in another bowl to make a paste. Take a bigger bread roundel and apply the butter-ketchup mixturegenerously and place the doughnut shaped roundels over these roundels. Top it with butter and cheese mixture generously. Bake in the preheated oven for about seven to eight minutes. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
