Ingredients
- 2 cups whole green gram (moong)
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- 4 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons green chutney
- 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
- ¼ cup sev + for garnishing
Method
- Soak green gram in sufficient water for an hour. Transfer in a muslin cloth and squeeze to drain out the excess water. Set aside till sprouts are formed.
- Mix together green gram sprouts, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, chaat masala, salt, peanuts, lemon juice, yogurt, green chutney and tamarind chutney in a bowl.
- Add sev and mix well. Garnish with sev and serve immediately.
