Ingredients list for Dhaniya Chicken

  • 600 grams Chicken
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 2 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 1/2 cup Onion paste
  • 1 large Tomato chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin seeds
  • 200 grams Yogurt
  • large pinch Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and refrigerate it for half an hour.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a non stick pan, add onion paste and saute till light brown.
  3. Add tomatoes and saute for a minute. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, yogurt, sugar, salt and chicken and one cup water and mix well.
  4. Cook till chicken is tender.
  5. Remove from flame serve hot garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
