Ingredients list for Dhaniya Chicken
- 600 grams Chicken
- 1 teaspoon Coriander
- 2 teaspoon Garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- 3 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 1/2 cup Onion paste
- 1 large Tomato chopped
- 2 tablespoons Coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons Cumin seeds
- 200 grams Yogurt
- large pinch Sugar
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Marinate the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and refrigerate it for half an hour.
- Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a non stick pan, add onion paste and saute till light brown.
- Add tomatoes and saute for a minute. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, yogurt, sugar, salt and chicken and one cup water and mix well.
- Cook till chicken is tender.
- Remove from flame serve hot garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
