Ingredients list for Dal Poha
- 1 cup Split green gram skinless (dhuli moong dal) soaked and boiled
- 1 cup Pressed rice (poha) soaked
- 1/2 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- 5-7 Curry leaves
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- a pinch Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander chopped
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add green chilli and curry leaves and saute for half a minute.
- Add onions, turmeric powder and sauté for half a minute.
- Add green gram and mix well and saute for two minutes.
- Add poha and mix well and cook till heated through.
- Add salt and sugar and mix well.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
