By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Aug 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal), Green chillies Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 4-5 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dahi Vada Chaat-SK Khazana 1 cup Split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) soaked and drained 2 Green chillies broken 1 inch Ginger roughly chopped to taste Salt to deep fry Oil as required Yogurt 1 Large onion finely chopped 1 Large tomato finely chopped 2 tablespoons Green chutney 2 tablespoons Sweet tamarind chutney as required Fresh coriander leaves chopped a pinch Red chilli powder a pinch Chaat masala Method Blend together black gram, green chillies and ginger to a fine paste. Transfer into a bowl, add salt and whisk well. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of the mixture into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Break vadas into small pieces and place on a serving platter. Top with some yogurt, onions and tomatoes. Drizzle green chutney and tamarind chutney and sprinkle some coriander leaves. Top with some more yogurt, coriander leaves, chilli powder and chaat masala.
