Ingredients list for Chicken Shawarma-SK Khazana

  • 200 grams Boneless chicken breast
  • 4 Pita breads
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons Schezwan sauce
  • as required Pickled beetroot sliced
  • as required Pickled cucumber strips
  • as required Mint mayonnaise


  1. Preheat oven to 180º C.
  2. Taken chicken breasts in a bowl, add salt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and1 tablespoon oil and mix together well.
  3. Place the chicken on a baking tray, keep the tray in the preheated oven and roast for 15 minutes or till fully cooked.
  4. Take the tray out of the oven and place the chicken on a chopping board and cut into strips.
  5. Heat a non-stick tawa and heat the pita breads on it.
  6. For each portion place a pita bread on the worktop, put 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon schezwan sauce on it and spread evenly.
  7. Keep some of the chicken strips on it and top with pickled beetroot slices, some pickled cucumber strips and some mint mayonnaise and roll.
  8. Wrap in a piece of aluminium foil and serve immediately.
