Ingredients list for Chicken Omelette-SK Khazana

  • 200 grams Boneless chicken boiled and shredded
  • 6 Eggs
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 Medium onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Spring onion greens chopped
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 8 White bread slices

Method

  1. To make 2 omelettes, mix together half the chicken, 3 eggs, salt, crushed peppercorns, ½ teaspoon chilli powder, ½ teaspoon chaat masala, half the onion and 1 tablespoon spring onion greens in a bowl. Add ¼ cup milk and mix well.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a non-stick tawa. Pour the prepared mixture on it and spread. Dip bread slices in the egg and set aside. Cook till the underside of the omelette is browned.
  3. Place 2 bread slices side by side in the centre of the omelette, flip and fold the omelette from the sides.
  4. Place the remaining bread slices on top, halve, flip and cook till the bread are toasted well on both sides. Make 2 more omelettes similarly.
  5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
