By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Jul 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Black peppercorns Cuisine Maharashtrian, , , , Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Miraoni 350 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 6-8 Black peppercorns 2 tablespoons Ghee 1 tablespoon Garlic minced ½ cup Fresh coconut grated 1 teaspoon Tamarind pulp 2 medium Onions finely chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Heat 1 teaspoon ghee in a small non-stick tempering pan, add peppercorns and let them splutter. Add ½ tablespoon garlic and sauté till pink. Switch off the heat, cool and grind alongwith coconut, tamarind pulp and some water and grind to make a fine paste. Set aside. Heat remaining ghee in a non-stick wok, add remaining garlic and sauté till brown. Add onions and sauté further for 2 minutes. Add chicken cubes and cook on high heat for a minute. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Add ½ cup water, cover and cook on simmer for 5-7 minutes. Add the ground paste and mix well. Cook on simmer for 2-3 minutes.
