Ingredients

  • 250 grams boneless chicken, cut into thin strips
  • 2 cups pasta farfalle, boiled
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 
  • 1 medium onion,cut into thin roundels and layers separated
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ medium red capsicum, cut into thin strips
  • ¼ medium yellow capsicum,cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
  •  Crushed black peppercorns to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves 

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add salt and mix. Add chicken, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add cumin powder, oregano, red capsicum, yellow capsicum, chili sauce and crushed peppercorns, mix and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add coriander leaves and fajita spice mix and mix well. Add pasta, mix and cook for 1 minute. Reduce heat and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
