Ingredients list for Cheesy Egg Bhurji

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 65 grams Bhuna masala
  • 2-3 tablespoons Spring onion greens chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and green chillies and sauté till the seeds turn golden.
  2. Add onion and sauté for 2-4 minutes or till translucent.
  3. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and sauté till tomatoes are pulpy. Add bhuna masala and mix well.
  4. Break eggs into the pan and mix well. Add spring onion greens and cheese and stir till the eggs get scrambled. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
