Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chapli Kabab-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken mince 200 grams

  • Medium onion finely chopped 1

  • Spring onions greens chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh mint leaves chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped ` tablespoon

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tablespoon

  • Kebab masala 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Green chillies finely chopped 1-2

  • Lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon

  • Egg 1

  • Oil as required

  • Medium tomatoes sliced 2

  • Onion rings to serve

  • Lemon wedges to serve

Method

Step 1

Mix together chicken mince, onion, spring onion greens, mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, kebab masala, salt, green chillies, lemon juice and egg in a bowl. Set aside in the refrigerator to marinate for 1-2 hours.

Step 2

Heat some oil in a non-stick pan.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties. Place a tomato slice in the centre of each patty and press.

Step 4

Place these patties in the pan and shallow-fry, turning sides, till fully cooked and evenly done on both sides.

Step 5

Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
