By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cauliflower, Chickpeas (kabuli chana) Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 8-10 hour Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cauliflower Chickpea Tikki ½ medium Cauliflower grated 1 cup Chickpeas (kabuli chana) soaked overnight, boiled to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1 medium Onion finely chopped ½ medium Red capsicum finely chopped 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds ¼ cup Processed cheese grated for coating Bread crumbs pankao for shallow frying Oil 2-3 tablespoons Tomato ketchup to sprinkle Chaat masala for garnish coriander leaves chopped for garnish micro greens mixed Method Take chickpeas in a bowl and mash. Add cauliflower, salt, chilli powder, garlic, onion, red capsicum and cumin seeds and mix. Add cheese and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into tikkis. Coat the tikkis with breadcrumbs. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Shallow-fry tikkis from both sides till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Pour tomato ketchup in a serving bowl and pile fried tikkis on top. Sprinkle some chaat masala over them and garnish with some coriander leaves and micro greens.
