Ingredients list for Buttery Corn Chaat

  • 2 cups Corn kernels
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • 1 Lemon
  • for garnish coriander sprig


  1. Heat sufficient water in non-stick pan, add salt, mix and let it come to a boil. Add corn kernels and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain them into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add butter, red chilli powder,chaat masala, sprinkle black salt, salt crushed black peppercorns, coriander leaves, green chillies, squeeze juice of lemon and mix well.
  3. Transfer the chaat into serving bowl, garnish with coriander springs and serve immediately.
