Ingredients
- 2 cups corn kernels
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 1 lemon
- Coriander sprig for garnish
Method
- Heat sufficient water in a non-stick pan, add salt, mix and let it come to a boil. Add corn kernels and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain them into a mixing bowl.
- Add butter, red chilli powder, chaat masala, sprinkle black salt, salt crushed black peppercorns, coriander leaves, green chillies, squeeze juice of lemon and mix well.
- Transfer the chaat to a serving bowl, garnish with coriander springs and serve immediately.
