Ingredients list for Broad Beans With Chicken
- 600 grams Boneless Chicken cubed 1 inch
- 1/2 cup Broad Beans soaked Boiled
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mixed herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
- to taste Salt
- 3 medium Onions chopped
- 10 cloves Garlic chopped
- 2 medium Carrots cubed
- 3 medium Tomatoes chopped
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
- 2 Big Green chilli chopped
Method
- Marinate the chicken cubes in one tablespoon of oil, mixed dried herbs, crushed red chillies and salt for about fifteen minutes.
- Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté. Add garlic and continue to sauté till translucent. Add carrots and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, salt and continue to cook.
- Add sugar, white pepper powder, green chillies and continue to cook for another two to three minutes. Add chicken cubes, boiled broad beans and two cups of water.
- Mix and when the water comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat till done. Serve hot with Pidde (a kind of bread).
