Ingredients
- 500 grams ladyfingers heads, trimmed and slit
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2-3 green chillies, slit
- 1 1/2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Fresh coriander sprig to garnish
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till the seeds chance colour.
- Add onions, mix and sauté till translucent. Add green chillies, mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add ladyfingers, mix and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Cook till the ladyfingers are done.
- Add dried mango powder and coriander leaves and mix gently.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
