Ingredients list for Bharwan Til Aloo - SK Khazana
- 4 Medium potatoes peeled, cored and parboiled
- 1 cup White sesame seeds (safed til)
- 1/2 cup Cottage cheese (paneer) gratedc
- 1 tablespo for garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh mint leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur)
- 3/4 teaspoon Cumin powder
- to taste Salt
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- Mix together cottage cheese, coriander leaves, mint leaves, cashewnuts, ginger, chilli powder, dried mango powder, cumin powder and salt in a bowl.
- Stuff the potatoes with the prepared mixture and cut into thick slices.
- Mix together sesame seeds and salt in another bowl.
- Coat the slices with the sesame mixture.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan. Place the slices in it and shallow-fry, turning sides, till golden brown and crisp.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
