By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Medium potatoes, White sesame seeds (safed til) Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Bharwan Til Aloo - SK Khazana 4 Medium potatoes peeled, cored and parboiled 1 cup White sesame seeds (safed til) 1/2 cup Cottage cheese (paneer) gratedc 1 tablespo for garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon Fresh mint leaves chopped 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped 1 teaspoon Ginger grated 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur) 3/4 teaspoon Cumin powder to taste Salt for shallow frying Oil Method Mix together cottage cheese, coriander leaves, mint leaves, cashewnuts, ginger, chilli powder, dried mango powder, cumin powder and salt in a bowl. Stuff the potatoes with the prepared mixture and cut into thick slices. Mix together sesame seeds and salt in another bowl. Coat the slices with the sesame mixture. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan. Place the slices in it and shallow-fry, turning sides, till golden brown and crisp.
