Ingredients list for Besan Ke Pude
- 3 cups Gram flour (besan)
- 1 cup Cheese grated
- 1/2 teaspoons Turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoons Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
- 2-3 cups Buttermilk
- to taste Salt
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 1 cup Boondi
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves
- 1 cup Paneer (cottage cheese) grated
- to cook Oil
Method
- Heat a non stick tawa.
- Mix together gram flour, asafoetida, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste in a bowl. Add buttermilk and salt and mix well to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency.f
- Mix together cheese, khari boondi and coriander leaves in another bowl. Add paneer and mix well.
- For each puda spread ½ tsp oil on the hot tawa. Put a ladleful of batter and spread it to a thin puda.
- Spread some of the cheese mixture over it. Drizzle 1 tsp oil on all sides and cook till the underside is golden.
- Roll the puda, transfer into a serving plate and serve hot.
