Ingredients list for Baked Prawns With Honey Mustard
- 20 Tiger prawns peeled and deveined with tails intact
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons Mustard seeds
- to taste Sea salt
- 10-15 Garlic
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 Lemon
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce
- 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
Method
- Preheat oven to the highest temperature. Grind mustard seeds, sea salt, garlic, ginger and ¼ cup water to a fine paste.
- Halve the prawns lengthways and put them in a bowl.
- Add salt, squeeze juice of 1 lemon and some chilled water to cover them completely.
- Let them soak for a few minutes and drain completely.
- Pat them dry on a tissue and put them back into the bowl.
- Add red chilli sauce, ground paste, honey and extra virgin olive oil and mix well.
- Arrange them on a baking tray in single layer and cook in the preheated oven for 5-8 minutes.
- Serve hot immediately.
