Ingredients list for Aam Papad Chicken

  • 2 Chicken breasts small boneless, cut into ½ inch pieces
  • 10-12 Papad
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Onion seeds (kalonji)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 3 tablespoons Raw mango puree
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Method

  1. Put chicken in a large mixing bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, onion seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mango puree, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt and mix it properly. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Separate the layers of aam papad and place on a work top.
  3. Place the marinated chicken pieces over the layers of each aam papad and roll the aam papad.
  4. Heat a non-stick grill pan and drizzle oil over it.
  5. Add the chicken pieces to the grill pan and cook, turning, till chicken is cooked and evenly done from all the sides.
  6. Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot.
