Ingredients list for Cheesy Momos-SK Khazana

  • 1 cup Cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated
  • 200 grams Refined flour (maida) dough
  • 150 grams Chicken mince
  • 2 tablespoons Onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Carrot finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Celery finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme
  • to taste Salt
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida
  • a pinch Dried oregano
  • a pinch Red chilli flakes

Method

  1. Mix together chicken mince, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, crushed peppercorns, thyme and salt in a bowl.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions, dust with some flour and roll out into medium discs.
  3. Place a portion of chicken mixture in the centre of each disc and shape into momos. Place them on a steamer plate.
  4. Heat sufficient water in a steamer. Place the plate in it, cover and steam for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 180º C.
  6. Transfer the steamed momos into a baking dish. Pour cheese sauce, top with processed cheese, oregano and chilli flakes.
  7. Put the dish in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
  8. Serve hot.
