Ingredients list for Cheesy Momos-SK Khazana
- 1 cup Cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup Processed cheese grated
- 200 grams Refined flour (maida) dough
- 150 grams Chicken mince
- 2 tablespoons Onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Carrot finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Celery finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme
- to taste Salt
- for dusting Refined flour (maida
- a pinch Dried oregano
- a pinch Red chilli flakes
Method
- Mix together chicken mince, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, crushed peppercorns, thyme and salt in a bowl.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, dust with some flour and roll out into medium discs.
- Place a portion of chicken mixture in the centre of each disc and shape into momos. Place them on a steamer plate.
- Heat sufficient water in a steamer. Place the plate in it, cover and steam for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180º C.
- Transfer the steamed momos into a baking dish. Pour cheese sauce, top with processed cheese, oregano and chilli flakes.
- Put the dish in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
