By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach, Potatoes Cuisine American Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Spinach Bake 3 bunches Spinach 3 medium Potatoes 1 tablespoon Oil 2-3 cloves Garlic chopped to taste Salt to taste White pepper powder 1 tablespoon Butter 2 cup White sauce a pinch Nutmeg powder 1/2 cup Cheese 1/2 cup Bread crumbs 2 Butter cubes 2 tablespoons Cream Method Clean the spinach, remove the stems and wash thoroughly. Blanch, drain and chop. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and sauté. Add spinach, salt, white pepper powder and stir. Line a baking dish with this. Boil potatoes with some salt. Peel and slice. Arrange some of these slices on top of the spinach layer in the baking dish. Sprinkle some salt and pepper powder. Season the white sauce with nutmeg powder. Pour this over the potato layer. Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs over the white sauce. Put some butter cubes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 10 minutes. Dot with fresh cream and serve immediately.
