Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Spicy Coriander and Chicken wontons Recipe

  • Chicken cut into small pieces, 150 grams

  • Wonton wrappers 8-12

  • Fresh coriander sprigs 10-12

  • Soy sauce 1½ teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Green chilli sauce 3 teaspoons

  • Garlic finely chopped 1¼ teaspoons

  • Ginger finely chopped 1 inch

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2-3

  • Oil for deep-frying


Step 1

Take chicken pieces in a bowl. Add soy sauce, salt, chilli sauce, garlic, ginger and green chillies and mix well.

Step 2

Chop coriander and add. Mix well.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 4

Place wonton wrappers on a worktop. Put a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the centre, apply water on the edges, bring them together, pinch to seal and make into wontons.

Step 5

Deep-fry wontons in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 6

Serve hot.
