Ingredients 

  • 10-15 black peppercorns
  • 1 inch ginger, sliced
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf) 
  • 3 green cardamoms
  • Ice cubes as required 
  • 1 tea bag
  • ½ cup sugar syrup
  • Lemon slices for garnishing 
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing 

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water in a deep non-stick pan. Add cinnamon, peppercorns, ginger, fennel seeds, cardamoms and bring to a boil.
  2. Put some ice cubes into a large glass jar. 
  3. Add tea bag in pan and boil for 2-3 minutes. Strain the mixture in a bowl and pour in the jar. Add sugar syrup and mix well.
  4. Pour into individual mason jars, garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs. Serve chilled.
