Ingredients list for Spiced Iced Tea - SKK

  • 2 inch sti Cinnamon
  • 20-25 Black peppercorns
  • 2 inches Ginger sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 5 Green cardamoms
  • as required Ice cubes
  • 2 Tea bags
  • 1 cup Sugar syrup
  • for garnish Lemon slices
  • for garnish Fresh mint sprigs

Method

  1. Heat 2 cups water in a deep non-stick pan. Add cinnamon, peppercorns, ginger, fennel seeds, cardamoms and bring to a boil.
  2. Put some ice cubes into a large glass jar.
  3. Add tea bags in pan and boil for 2-3 minutes. Strain the mixture into a bowl and pour into the jar. Add sugar syrup and mix well.
  4. Pour into individual mason jars, garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs. Serve chilled.
