Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Quesadilla Chicken Burger - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken mince 250 grams

  • Tortilla wraps 4

  • Medium onion chopped 1

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Paprika 1 teaspoon

  • Egg yolk 1

  • Oil to cook

  • Burger dip as required

  • Iceberg lettuce 4-5

  • Onion roundels as required

  • Tomato roundels as required

  • Jalapeno slices as required

  • Cucumber roundels as required

  • Nacho chips to serve


Step 1

Take chicken mince in a bowl, add onion, green chillies, crushed black peppercorns, salt, paprika and egg yolk and mix well.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, place a cookie cutter in the centre of the pan. Put some of the chicken mixture into it and spread evenly. Gently remove the cookie cutter and cook the patty, turning sides, till it gets evenly cooked and golden on both sides. Drain on an absorbent paper. Cook more patties in the same way.

Step 3

Cut tortillas roundels with the same cookie cutter. Toast them in the same pan, turning sides, till both sides are evenly toasted. .

Step 4

Apply burger dip on half the tortillas roundels and keep a chicken patty on each.

Step 5

Top with some iceberg lettuce leaves, 2 onion roundels, 2 tomato roundels, 2-3 jalapeno slices and 2-3 cucumber roundels, cover with the remaining tortillas and secure each with a cherry tomato skewered on a toothpick.

Step 6

Serve immediately with nacho chips.
