Prawns with Chilli Ginger A Thai dish – prawns cooked with bird’s eye chillies, ginger and other Thai ingredients. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Prawns (kolambi/jhinga), Birds eye chillies Cuisine Thai, , , , Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Prawns with Chilli Ginger 20-24 Prawns (kolambi/jhinga) shelled and deveined 2 Birds eye chillies chopped 1 inch Ginger finely chopped to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 tablespoon Oil 3-4 Garlic cloves chopped 4 Shallots finely chopped 2 Lemon grass stalk finely chopped 1 cup Vegetable stock 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Put prawns in a bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well and set aside for ten to fifteen minutes. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger and shallots, mix and sauté for a minute. Add chillies and lemongrass, mix and sauté for a minute. Add stock, stir and bring to a boil. Add prawns and bring to a boil. Adjust seasoning. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
