Pasta with Sausage and Kale

Ingredients

  • 3 cups macaroni,cooked
  • 6 chicken sausages, cut into medium pieces
  • 10-15 kale leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 medium onions,chopped
  • 10-12 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese powder
  • 2-3 fresh thyme sprigs, chopped

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and onions, mix and sauté for one to two minutes.
  2. Add cherry tomatoes and sausages, mix and sauté till the sausages turn golden.
  3. Add chilli flakes, kale leaves, salt and pasta, toss and let it get heated through. Add butter and mix well.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle parmesan cheese powder on top and serve hot garnished with chopped thyme.
