Ingredients list for Pan Seared Mango Pomfret

  • 1 Ripe Mangoes cut into cubes
  • 2 Pomfret
  • medium Salt
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 1 inch piece Ginger chopped
  • 1/3 cup Rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons Oil

Method

  1. Make a few slits on the fish on either sides, making sure that the fish is not cut through and rub salt all over.
  2. Grind together the mango, garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves and ginger into a smooth paste with a little water.
  3. Apply the ground paste on both sides of the fish, ensuring that it goes inside the slits too.
  4. .Spread the flour on a plate and roll the fish in it so that it coats both sides.
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick grill pan.
  6. Place the fish on it and cook till both the sides are evenly done.
  7. Serve hot.
