Ingredients for Nankhatai Sticks - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 cups

  • Gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup

  • Powdered sugar 3/4 cup

  • Baking soda 1 pinch

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Mixed nuts chopped 1/4 cup

  • Ghee melted 3/4 cup


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C.

Step 2

Sift together refined flour, gram flour, powdered sugar, baking soda, baking powder and green cardamom powder into a mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add mixed nuts and ghee, mix well and knead into stiff dough.

Step 4

Divide the dough into equal portions. Shape each portion into medium sized cylinders and flatten it slightly. Arrange them on a baking tray.

Step 5

Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool down to room temperature.

Step 6

Serve or store in an airtight container.
