Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Murgh Dhania Korma Recipe

  • Chicken 1 inch cubes 600 grams

  • Fresh coriander chopped 4 tablespoons

  • Skimmed milk yogurt 1 cup

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Ginger paste 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Garlic paste 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Green chilli paste 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon

  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon

  • Dry ginger powder (soonth) 1 teaspoon

  • Oil 1 teaspoon

  • Bay leaves 3

  • Peppercorns 6

  • Cloves 4

  • Green cardamoms 5

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

Method

Step 1

Whisk together yogurt, turmeric powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli paste and a pinch of salt. Add the flour, garam masala powder and dried ginger powder and whisk again with a little water.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan. Add the bay leaves, black peppercorns, cloves and green cardamoms and sauté till fragrant. Add the onion and sauté till lightly browned.

Step 3

Add the chicken pieces and cook for three to four minutes. Add the yogurt mixture and coriander leaves and mix. Add a little water and mix well. Cover and cook for about twenty minutes.
