Ingredients for Moongchana And Bulgur Salad Recipe

  • Whole Green Gram soaked 1/4 cup

  • Chickpeas soaked 1/4 cup

  • Bulgur wheat soaked in hot water 1/4 cup

  • Celery 1 stalk

  • Almonds blanched and peeled 15-20

  • Parsley a few stalks

  • Salt to taste

  • Raisins 1 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoons

  • Extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Carrot shredded 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Drain and cook moong and kabuli chana till just done but not mashed. Chop celery and put into a bowl.

Step 2

Add kabuli chana and moong. Drain and add bulgur.

Step 3

Halve almonds and add. Chop parsley and add.

Step 4

Add salt, raisins, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with shredded carrot and serve.
