Ingredients 

  • 8-9 green chillies
  • 30 grams white sesame seeds
  • 7-8 garlic cloves 
  • 1/4 medium fresh coriander leaves
  • 50 grams fresh coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Method

  1. Remove stems and wash green chillies. Peel and wash garlic. Clean coriander leaves, wash well with plenty of water and then chop roughly. Scrape fresh coconut.
  2. Heat oil on a tawa, add green chillies, white sesame seeds, garlic, coconut and coriander leaves. Sauté for three to four minutes. Remove from heat and leave aside to cool.
  3. Grind it coarsely in a mixer or pound in a mortar. Remove and serve as an accompaniment.
