Ingredients list for Matar Paneer Tikki

  • 200 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) grated
  • 100 grams Green peas
  • 2 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Amchur powder
  • 3 teaspoons Cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons Criander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 cup Semolina
  • for shallow frying Oil

Method

  1. In a bowl, add grated paneer, green peas, potatoes, onions, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric, garam masala, amchur powder, corn flour and corainder and mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal potions and shape them into tikkis.
  3. Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the tikkis till golden brown till golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with green chutney.
