Ingredients list for Jain Chinese Bhel
- 200 grams Eggless Noodles boiled
- 1 cup French beans cut into diamonds
- 1 teaspoon for deep-frying Oil
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch
- 1 medium Capsicum finely chopped
- 1 small Cabbage finely shredded
- ¼ cup Corn kernels
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli sauce
- 1 teaspoon Tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in kadai.
- Take noodles in a bowl, add cornflour and mix well. Set aside.
- Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a non-stick pan, add French beans, capsicum, cabbage, corn kernels, black pepper powder, sugar, salt, soy sauce, chill sauce, tomato ketchup and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes and set aside.
- Deep-fry noodles in hot oil till crisp and brown. Drain on absorbent paper. When cool lightly crush the fried noodles.
- Add the fried noodles reserving some to the vegetable mixture. Mix well and cook for 2-3 mixture. Add chopped coriander reserving some and mix well.
- Serve hot garnished with reserved fried noodles and chopped coriander.
