Ingredients list for Jaggery Tea

  • 3-4 tablespoons Jaggery (gur) grated
  • 2 tablespoons Tea leaves
  • 4 Green cardamoms broken
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick pan. Add cardamoms, fennel seeds, crushed peppercorns and tea leaves and bring to boil.
  2. Add milk and bring to boil.
  3. Put jaggery in a tea pot and strain in the prepared tea mixture. Stir till jaggery melts.
  4. Serve hot.
