Ingredients list for Honey Toasted Cheese With Sesame Seeds
- 600 grams Cottage Cheese
- 2 Sesame Seeds
- 3 medium Tomatoes
- 1 large Onion
- 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds (til)
- a few Spring onion greens
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons Tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon Cashewnut paste
- 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon MSG
- 1 tablespoon Honey
Method
- Cut paneer in cubes in three by two centimeter size. Wash, remove stem and finely chop green chillies.
- Wash and cut tomatoes into three centimeter cubes. Peel, wash and cut onions into three centimeter cubes.
- Lightly roast sesame seeds on a griddle. Wash and chop spring onion greens for garnish.
- Heat butter in a pan with some oil to avoid burning of butter. Fry paneer cubes on both sides in the pan till golden brown.
- Remove paneer on a kitchen towel or absorbent paper. In the remaining oil add onion cubes, garlic paste and sauté for a while.
- Add tomato cubes and tomato puree. Stir and cook for a while. Add cashewnut paste and tomato ketchup.
- Add chopped green chillies saving one teaspoon for the garnish and soy sauce.
- Season with salt and ajinomoto. Now add paneer to this mixture and mix well.
- Mix honey with water and add it to the dish. Finish off with roasted sesame seeds. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and the remaining chopped green chillies.
