Ingredients list for Gur Pudhey With Ice Cream

  • 1 cup Jaggery (gur) grated
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • a pinch Baking soda
  • to cook Ghee
  • as required Vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped

Method

  1. Heat milk in a non stick pan, add jaggery and cinnamon powder and heat lightly. Mix flour and soda and sieve.
  2. Add milk mixture to the flour and mix well to make a smooth batter.
  3. Heat ghee in another non stick pan, pour a ladle of batter and swirl the pan to spread evenly.
  4. Drizzle a little ghee all around and cook, turning sides, till cooked evenly on both sides.
  5. Transfer the pancakes onto serving plates, put some ice-cream over them.
  6. Cut it into two pieces and decorate with almonds and pistachios and serve.
