Ingredients list for Garlic Sev - SK Khazana
- 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
- 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Carom seeds (ajwain)
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil
Method
- Knead together gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, carom seeds, salt, 1 tablespoon oil and sufficient water to a stiff dough. Rest for 30 minutes.
- Grease a sev mould with some oil and fill in a portion of dough.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Press sev directly into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Cool and serve or store in an airtight container.
