Ingredients list for Farali Missal

  • 4-5 large Potatoes boiled
  • 2 tablespoons Batata chiwda
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 3 Green chillies slit
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Roasted peanuts crushed
  • to taste Sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Batata chiwda

Method

  1. Heat a pan, add ghee and let it melt. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and sauté for ten seconds.
  2. Crumble the boiled potatoes and add. Add one and a half cups of water and let it come to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for two to three minutes Add whole peanuts, crushed peanuts, sea salt and simmer for five minutes.
  4. Place the batata chewda in serving bowls.
  5. Pour the missal over and serve hot with pav.
